Patricia Irene Kastning, 92, of Salesville, AR, formerly of Brixey, MO, and Ponca, NE, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her home.
Patricia, the daughter of George and Irene (Stanard) Lance was born December 14, 1928 in Sublette, KS. She attended and completed school at Romance, MO. She was united in marriage to Doyle C. Kastning on September 22, 1945 in Mtn Home, AR. Of this union five children were born. She was a member of the Hwy 5 South Church of Christ in Mtn Home, AR.
Patricia was a homemaker for most of her lifetime. During the years living in Ponca, NE, she owned and operated the Silver Spur Café. She loved her Lord and savior and was a shining example to her family of how Christian love is shown to others. She loved to quilt, sew, crochet, and make crafts. She especially enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Viola Houghton of Paradise, CA; her children, Doyne Kastning of South Sioux City, NE, Bob (Lana) Kastning of Ponca, NE, Irene (Larry) Lewis of Salesville, AR, and Kevin Kastning of Brixey, MO. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Doyle and her son Bill Kastning.
Services are pending under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO and burial in the Souder Church of Christ cemetery at Souder, MO.
