The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two vehicle accident yesterday at 6:13 PM in Ozark County.
The accident occurred five miles west of Dora on Highway H, when a tire from a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Gary Richardson, 57 of Mountain Grove, became disconnected and struck the 2002 Ford Mustang driven by Charles Roland, 77 of West Plains. The Mustang then traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Roland suffered serious injuries and was transported by air ambulance to Cox South in Springfield. Roland was wearing a safety device.
