In the words of the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the National Take-Back Day program is both free and a “No Questions Asked” event. People will be able to drop off pills and other medications in bottles, bags, or other disposable containers, and people may remove all labels from these containers if they wish.

In addition to the Fairgrounds location, individuals may also drop off their items at a secure drop box that is located at 206 West 8th Street. This lock box is under video surveillance due to security reasons.

All drugs collected in this event will be later destroyed using an incinerator.
