Licking, MO. – Last week, the South Central Correctional Facility in Licking announced a new inmate death that transpired on August 4th.
The inmate was identified as Ronald Morris, a 44-year-old man who was serving a 28-year sentence for 1st Degree Assault/Attempted Assault of an Officer, a 50-year sentence for Armed Criminal Action, and a 13-year sentence for 2nd Degree Assault/Attempted Assault of an Officer, all from Clay County.

Morris was received in the system on October 30th of 2019, and an autopsy has been scheduled.
