Mountain Grove, MO – Mountain Grove Animal Control is issuing a heartfelt plea to the public as its small shelter reaches a critical point of overcrowding. With 19 animals currently in their care, the shelter warns that if adoptions do not occur soon, they may be forced to consider euthanasia due to lack of space and resources.
In an effort to avoid this outcome and find loving homes for the animals, adoption fees are being waived for a group of six 7-month-old Cane Corso/Pitbull mix puppies. These pups have spent their entire young lives confined to a single room with their mother and father before arriving at the shelter.
“These dogs didn’t ask for the circumstances they were born into,” shelter staff shared. “They deserve a chance at life, and right now, we need our community to step up and help give that to them.”
