Residents in eight Arkansas counties affected by the severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that occurred between March 14–15 and April 2–22 can access in-person assistance this week. FEMA has set up Disaster Recovery Centers across the state to support survivors in applying for federal aid and getting help with recovery resources.
The centers are open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted, and locations include:
- Craighead County: Lake City City Hall, June 2–4
- Crittenden County: Earle City Hall and Roberta Jackson Neighborhood Center in West Memphis, June 2–4
- Desha County: McGhee Municipal Complex, June 2–4
- Miller County: Office of Emergency Management in Texarkana, June 2–4
- Ouachita County: Ouachita County Courthouse in Camden (new location), June 4–7
- St. Francis County: Woodruff Electric Cooperative in Forrest City (new location), June 5–7
- Sharp County: Hardy Fire Station, June 2–6 (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), June 7 (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
