Springfield, MO. – Yesterday morning, July 8th, a 73-year-old Thayer resident was injured in a two-vehicle accident just outside of Springfield.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says this accident happened at around 9:40am on US 60, just a mile east of the Springfield city limits. The female Thayer driver is reported to have struck a GMC Sierra that was failing to yield to traffic. The driver of the Sierra was uninjured.
After being inflicted with moderate injuries as a result of the crash, the Thayer resident was taken to Cox South for further treatment.
