The Royals put an end to a two-game losing skid with a walk-off victory. Kansas City defeated the New York Mets 3-2 in the finale of a three-game set at Kauffman Stadium. Nick Loftin hit a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning. John Rave had a team-high two RBIs in the setback. Carlos Estevez earned his fourth win despite allowing two runs through his lone inning of relief. The Royals are now 47-and-50. They visit the Miami Marlins on Friday night.
