A West Plains man, Christopher Greenough, was sentenced to 20 years in prison after a plea deal on Friday July 25th.
Greenough was originally charged with second degree murder after beating his father, David Greenough to death in January 2023. Christopher Greenough was arrested after a 9-1-1 call was placed for a medical emergency. Upon arrival, David Greenough was discovered with severe injuries to his head and face, and later died at Ozarks Healthcare.
