Willow Springs high school will celebrate 100 years of Bear high school football Sept 12th vs Cabool. All former Willow Springs Bear football players and coaches along with their families are invited to a catered meal in Grimes Auditorium at 5pm. Douglas County Coats for Kids is teeing off a new fundraising tradition with its first-ever Coats for Kids Golf Tournament, set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Ava Country Club. The tournament will follow a two-man scramble format, with tee times scheduled for 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The entry fee is $100 per team. Lunch will be available, but only through donations.
