NFL Trades

The New York Jets traded cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts for two first round picks and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell. The first round picks will be in the 2026 and 2027 NFL Drafts.

The Jets trading Gardner comes a few months after they signed him to a four-year, $120.4 million contract extension. He is expected to practice today with the Colts and there is hope he can play with the Colts when they take on the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin this Sunday.

The Jets drafted Gardner with the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He had 20 pass breakups in his rookie year and was named a first-team All-Pro in his first two seasons.

The New York Jets traded \defensive lineman Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys traded a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027-first round pick and defensive tackle Mazi Smith to the Jets.

Williams has 40 sacks in his career since being drafted third overall in 2019, but only has one this season.

The Cowboys have their bye this week so Williams won’t practice with the team until next week. They return to action November 17th against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jakobi Meyers is heading to Jacksonville.

The Las Vegas Raiders traded the veteran wide receiver to the Jaguars ahead of the NFL trade deadline in exchange for fourth- and sixth-round picks in the 2026 draft.

Meyers had been vocal about wanting out of Las Vegas, telling reporters last week he wanted to be “in a good spot.” He now joins a Jaguars team desperate for healthy receivers — with Travis Hunter on injured reserve and Brian Thomas Jr. battling injuries.

The Seattle Seahawks have made a big move at the NFL trade deadline, landing wide receiver Rashid Shaheed from the New Orleans Saints.  Seattle sent 2026 fourth- and fifth-round picks to New Orleans in exchange for the speedy 27-year-old.

Shaheed, a former Pro Bowl return specialist and 2023 All-Pro, brings both receiving depth and special teams experience to a Seahawks roster hit hard by injuries — with Cooper Kupp, Jake Bobo, and Dareke Young all sidelined. He’s caught 44 passes for 499 yards and two touchdowns this season and reunites with offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who coached him in New Orleans.
