Arkansas – Those who live within the area and have real trees that were used in Christmas decorations may have a way to dispose of the trees in a nature-conscientious manner.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission are once again asking that people with leftover real trees donate to their program for creating fish habitats.
Two locations are available as drop-off locations within the listening area, including Bull Shoals Lake and Norform Lake at boat ramps for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The Commission will be accepting the trees until the end of January, provided they are free from any decorations prior to donating.
