Willow Springs, MO. – A park in downtown Willow Springs will be host to a dedication ceremony at 2:00 p.m. today, Friday January 2nd that will honor long-time resident Wendell Bailey.
The park in question is currently the Star Park, found adjacent to the Star Theatre. After the ceremony, the park will officially be renamed the Wendell Bailey Park, and public participation is encouraged.

During the ceremony, Missouri State Treasurer Vivek Malek, State Representative Lisa Durnell, and City Administrator Beverly Hicks will offer additional statements.
