The Howell County Commission has awarded a contract to D & R Farms & Excavating, LLC of Willow Springs to perform right‑of‑way brush and limb clearing throughout the county’s northern district. Brush control along county roads is an ongoing maintenance priority, and this contracted work will supplement the regular operations of the Road & Bridge Department to help accelerate progress across the district.
As crews begin work in the area, motorists are encouraged to use caution, reduce speed near work zones, and remain alert for workers and equipment along the roadway.
This project is funded through the county’s ½‑cent sales tax dedicated to road maintenance. The Commission expresses its appreciation for the continued support of Howell County residents, which makes it possible to maintain and improve local infrastructure.
