MOUNTAIN GROVE, MO- Williams Vetrinary Clinick & The City of Mountain Grove Animal Control will host a walk-in vaccine & microchip clinic on Saturday, March 7th at Williams Vetrinary Clinic, 11135 Stave Mill Road in Mountain Grove.

Food and drinks will be availible for purchase and proceeds for the event will benefit an area youth group.

As the high risk season of canine parvovirus approaches, both clinics want to ensure area pets are protected. Parvovirus typically spreads around the spring & summer months. This is also the same time when many canine owners take their pups outside and to parks to socialize with other dogs.

Spring is typically the peak season for younger litters, but dogs of all ages can inherit parvovirus. And if your dog has previously recieved parvovirus vaccination, this does not mean your dog is immunized for life.

FVRCP virus which protects cats from multiple diseases (primarily but not limted to feline herpes) as there is no cure for the virus and comes with recurring symptoms.
