Electric crews in West Plains will conduct a planned power outage Thursday morning to safely upgrade a section of underground primary line. The shutdown is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on February 19 and could last up to three hours while crews complete the work.
The outage will affect customers in the Millwood Subdivision and part of Plain View Estates. City officials say the upgrades are necessary to strengthen the electric system and improve long‑term reliability.
