The Mizzou men’s basketball team is going dancing as the Tigers earned a bid to the 2026 NCAA Tournament, announced on Selection Sunday. Receiving a No. 10 seed, Mizzou opens its quest for a national title against Miami on Friday.

Show-Me-Show-Down classes 4 through 6. Girls final four in class 4 Doniphan vs Benton Wednesday at 10am and Cardinal Ritter vs Strafford at Noon on Wednesday. Class 5 final four. Lift for Life vs Grandview at 6pm on Wednesday and MICDS vs Marshfield at 8pm on Wednesday. In class 6 Jackson vs Staley at 2pm on Wednesday and Incarnate Word Academy vs Lee’s Summit West at 4pm on Wednesday all games are being played at Mizzou Areana in Columbia.

 

Saturday March 21st the Mountain View Municipal Golf course will host the St. Patty Go Green 18 hole 2-person scramble. Tee time is 10am sign in will start at 9am cost is 80 dollars per team. You can sign up at the pro shop of the Mountain View golf course.

 

The Missouri State Lady Bears (22-12) earned a No. 16 seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament and will open their 18th NCAA appearance on Wednesday, March 18 in Austin, Texas. Mo State will face Stephen F. Austin in the First Four round.

 

Missouri Basketball Coaches Assoiation has selected their all-district teams and in class 3 district 9 making the boys all-district team. DJ Riley, Houston. Alex Tune, Parker Tune and Drayton Wells all from Liberty. Karson Walker, Licking. Jayden Belcher, Hollis Deckard and Hunter Trinkler all from Thayer. Brady James and Kolby James from Willow Springs. Player of the year Kolby James. And Coach of the year Justin Harrell Liberty.

Player of the year Chloe Jones Willow Springs and Coach of the year Denny Young Thayer.
