It is time again for the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) to celebrate the basketball season!

The Missouri Basketball Coaches Association is proud to release their 2025 Hall of Fame class. The MBCA Hall of Fame Induction will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Springfield, Missouri on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

Tickets for the event may be purchased from the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association for $51.50 through an executive board member, or on the website from the link below. Tables may also be purchased at a discounted cost.

Gary Filbert Lifetime Achievement Award 

The highest honor given by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association; the Gary Filbert Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented this year to Kevin Garner. This award will be presented during the Hall of Fame Inductions on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Double Tree Hotel in Springfield, Missouri.

MBCA Academic All-State 

The Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) is very proud to select and present the Academic All-State basketball teams each school year. Here is complete list of award winners and criteria:

Academic All-State  

John Wooden Legacy Award 

The John Wooden Legacy Award is given by the National High School Basketball Coaches Association (NHSBCA) to a coach that is either active, retired, or it may be awarded posthumously. The coach must demonstrate excellence on the court, in the classroom and in the community. The coach was/is an Educator (Teacher, Paraprofessional, Administrator, Athletic Director, or other school personnel). The coach should also continue to give back to the game of basketball and embody the characteristics of John Wooden.

The NHSBCA has selected as the Missouri winners of the John Wooden Legacy Award:
