A 45‑year‑old Kansas City man was taken into custody Sunday night after troopers discovered he was wanted on several outstanding misdemeanor warrants from multiple jurisdictions.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mikel C. Ambler was arrested at 8:09 p.m. on April 5. Ambler was wanted on a Jackson County misdemeanor warrant for fraud, a Cass County misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on a passing bad check charge, and a Troop A misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on a driving‑while‑revoked or suspended charge.
Troopers also report Ambler was cited for driving while suspended and speeding at the time of the stop.
He was transported to the Wright County Jail, where he is being held.
