Grizzly Basketball is excited to announce the hiring of Dillon Hargrove as the next head coach. Hargrove began his collegiate head coaching career at National Park College in Hot Springs, Arkansas, in 2020-21. Competing at the NJCAA Division II level, he led the Nighthawks to winning seasons each year, culminating in a national championship in 2023-24. National Park defeated South Suburban College 84-79 in the title game and finished with a program-best 31-1 record.

Beginning this December, West Plains will take another step forward in its proud wrestling tradition, hosting a brand-new tournament that will bring together top programs from Missouri and Arkansas. The event will carry a name that already means so much to the community the Dan Taylor Wrestling Classic.
Adult softball season is right around the corner in West Plains. All adult softball team managers are invited to attend the upcoming Coaches Meeting, scheduled for Friday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Jimmie Carroll Sports Complex. The Willow Springs YMCA and G&W Foods annual 2-Person Scramble golf tournament will be held on Saturday, April 25th at the Willow Springs Municipal Golf Course and will have a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. This tournament benefits YMCA youth programs and scholarship fund. Flights and payout will depend on number of entries.
