Funeral Services for Loretta “Lou” Hines, Age 83 of Mountain View, Missouri will be held on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at The Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, beginning at 2:00 PM. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1PM. Interment will be in The Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
Loetta (Burns) Hines was born on October 3, 1942, in Lincoln, Arkansas, to Sylvia (Smallen) Menke and Irvan James Burns. She departed this life on April 13, 2026, at her home in Mountain View, Missouri.
Lou is preceded in death by her husband, Harmon Lee Hines; her mother, Sylvia Menke; stepfather, Albert Menke; one daughter, Victoria Hines; four grandchildren, Theodore E. Ledbetter III, Brandon Ledbetter, Baby Girl Cook, and Winston Charles.
She is survived by her children, Susan Charles (Don) of Mountain View, MO, Jennifer Yocham of West Plains, MO, Theodore Ledbetter Jr. (Sandy) of West Plains, MO, Amy Ledbetter (Danny) of Hartshorn, MO, Riley Ledbetter of Mountain View, MO, Leslie Ledbetter (Matilda) of Brawley, CA, Robert Ledbetter (Melissa) of Raymore, MO, and Cynthia Keiser (David) of Frisco, TX; her siblings, Mary Schupp (Mark) of Loveland, CO, William Menke (Susan) of Wentzville, MO, and Leonard Menke (Karen) of Cleveland, MO; seventeen grandchildren, Kenny, Tammi, Jeremy, Crystal, Deidra, Randle, Casey, Brennon, Dakota, Joshua, Ethan, Cassandra, Christina, Trenton, Josh, Tori, and Abigayle,; and she was blessed with 33 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Lou was a woman of many treasures, and she enjoyed her life and family.
