Funeral Services for Carolyn Sue Swearengin, Age 74 of Ronan, Montana (formerly of Ava, Missouri) will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at The Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri, beginning at 10:00 AM. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 9:00 AM.

Carolyn passed away on April 19, 2026, leaving behind her family and all those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her faith and the simple joys that filled her life.
Carolyn was born on December 30, 1951, in Springfield, Missouri, to John William Barton and Bertha Lorene Malicoat.
Carolyn later married Glenn Swearengin. They lived on a small farm outside of Ava, where she loved gardening, homemaking, and raising her family.
Carolyn was a Christian and enjoyed volunteering with her church. She loved sewing, quilting, baking cakes, making crafts, going fishing, and creating things with her hands.
Carolyn found great fulfillment in nurturing her family and in her passion for sewing and quilting, crafts that allowed her to express her creativity and bring beauty into the lives of those around her.
