Memorial Services for Scottie Darrel Sanders, Age 70 of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be held on Sunday, April 26th, 2026 at The Hilltop Church, 18, County Road 458, Mountain Home, Arkansas, beginning at 6:00 PM.

Scottie Darrel Sanders, 70, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Mountain Home. He was born in Paragould, Arkansas on November 5, 1955, to Marion Clyde and Betty Fern (Shaw) Sanders. He married his “trophy wife”, Heidi Snowberger on November 24, 1981, in Paragould. Heidi became his favorite person and best friend for the next forty-six years.
Scottie loved his country and served in the United States Army. His service continued after leaving the Army as he worked at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a crane operator for thirty-eight years. In retirement, he enjoyed working on old cars and was a gifted body work man. He could sketch the way it should look, and the finished product was better than the drawing. He built many “hot rods”, that he called “rat rods”, by hand and had much fun driving them around. He had fun playing video games on his own PlayStation 5. He was a church member of Kingdom Life Ministries.
Scottie is survived by his wife and soulmate, Heidi (Snowberger) Sanders; two sons, Samuel Sanders (Kristin Picka) and Daniel Sanders and four grandchildren, Kylie Sanders, Madisyn Sanders, Samuel Sanders and Elijahh Sanders. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Betty Sanders; one brother, Galyn Dale Sanders and one sister, Teresa Steele.
