The Royals picked up a win in their series opener against the Guardians. Kansas City beat Cleveland 6-2 to begin a four-game set at Kauffman Stadium. Jac Caglianone and Bobby Witt Jr. both homered while Nick Loftin led the team with two RBIs. Starting pitcher Michael Wacha earned his third win after tossing seven innings of two-run ball. The Royals have won four in a row to sit at 16-19. They host the Guardians again tonight.
