Isabella Man Facing Felony Burglary Charge After Theft

Gainesville, MO. – A man from Isabella is looking at a felony charge after stealing from a local gas station on the 30th of April.

An Ozark County Deputy, Matt Rhoades, was given witness testimony stating that a man had broken a jar of moonshine in the Phillips 66 gas station in Gainesville, who then used the distraction of the cleanup to then pocket two additional jars before leaving.

Logan Jones, born 1999 of Isabella was identified as the suspect. When confronted, Jones initially denied the theft before admitting to it when a search was conducted.

Jones was taken into custody and now faces a felony burglary charge, as well as a misdemeanor stealing charge.
