Eight Arrested in Izard County During the Week of September 29–October 5

MELBOURNE, Ark. — Izard County Sheriff Charley Melton has released the weekly incarceration report for the week of September 29 through October 5, 2025. The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Izard County Jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Larry Horton, 55, of Oxford, was arrested on September 29 on a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for harassment. Horton was already out on bond in a separate Izard County Circuit Court case, and that bond has since been revoked.

Larry Watson, 39, of Melbourne, was arrested on September 30 for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chad Griffith, 41, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on September 30 for failure to comply with the sex offender registry, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearms by certain persons, and as a habitual offender.

Danielle Griffith, 36, of Horseshoe Bend, was also arrested on September 30 for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Byron Estes, 20, of Sturkie, was arrested on September 30 on a warrant for failure to appear out of the Izard County District Court.

Joseph Bullis, 46, of Melbourne, was arrested on October 1 on a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for possession of firearms by certain persons.

Logan Phelps, 29, of Melbourne, was arrested on October 2 on a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for delivery of a controlled substance, maintaining a drug premises, and as a habitual offender.

Christopher Obryan, 37, of Mountain View, was arrested on October 5 for driving while intoxicated, improper parking, and DWI.
