Marion County, AR. – The Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly activity report for the week ending June 13, detailing a steady flow of calls for service and law enforcement activity across the county.
Deputies responded to a total of 84 calls for service throughout the week. Among those, three wellness checks were conducted to ensure the safety of residents, and one domestic disturbance was addressed. Law enforcement made two misdemeanor arrests and one felony arrest during this reporting period.
Deputies were also involved in the investigation of seven motor vehicle accidents, assisting on the scene and contributing to the investigation process. Additionally, 23 incident reports were completed, helping document a range of situations requiring official recordkeeping.
In support roles, deputies logged three hours of bailiff duty and recorded 32 hours of Field Training, reflecting ongoing efforts to prepare and mentor new officers.
The Investigations Division remained active, conducting 11 interviews related to ongoing cases. One investigator successfully completed 12 prerequisite courses in preparation for attending a Fire Investigation course at the National Fire Academy later this year.
At the Detention Center, operations remained steady with 13 inmates booked and 13 released, leaving the facility with a total of 46 inmates in custody by the end of the week.
