Multiple Charges Filed in Sharp County Weekly Arrest Roundup

SHARP COUNTY, Ark. – The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly incarceration report for the period of October 27 through November 3, 2025.

Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson reported the following individuals were booked into the Sharp County Detention Center during the week:

• Carter Brewer, 22, of Hardy, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (first offense), driving left of center, and failure to yield to emergency vehicles.

• Jacob Gibson, 31, of Cave City, was arrested for a parole/probation violation.

• Rachel Gitzen, 29, of Cave City, was arrested for contempt of court.

• John Haney, 41, of West Plains, Missouri, was arrested and held for another county or state.

• Maurillo Leon, 20, of Batesville, was arrested for failure to pay on contempt of court for restitution, possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended or revoked license, and possession of an instrument of crime.

• Norman Marchbanks, 33, of Cave City, was arrested for failure to pay time pay on contempt for failure to pay restitution, along with theft of property.

• David Stansbury, 47, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for direct contempt of court.

• Rodney Whitlow, 45, of Little Rock, was arrested for drinking in public, driving on a suspended or revoked license, no proof of liability insurance, criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper use of registration (fictitious tags).

• Brandon Yanke, 33, of West Plains, Missouri, was arrested for failure to appear on a misdemeanor violation of city ordinance.

All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
