The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the graduation of two new deputies from the Drury University Police Academy in Springfield, Missouri.
On the evening of July 10, 2025, the academy held its formal graduation ceremony, celebrating the completion of rigorous law enforcement training by a new class of officers dedicated to serving their communities.
Deputy Kyle Holloway and Deputy Tyler West represented Howell County in the graduating class. Deputy Holloway was honored with the opportunity to speak on behalf of the class during the ceremony, delivering heartfelt remarks about commitment, service, and the responsibilities that come with wearing the badge.
Both Holloway and West were officially sworn in as deputies with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, where they will now begin their careers serving and protecting the citizens of Howell County.
“We are incredibly proud to welcome Deputies Holloway and West to our team,” said Sheriff Matt Roberts. “Their hard work, dedication, and leadership at the academy are a sign of the positive impact they will have on our community. We’re excited to have them begin their journey right here at home.”
The Howell County Sheriff’s Office congratulates all graduates of the Drury Police Academy and extends its gratitude to the academy staff and instructors for their commitment to preparing the next generation of law enforcement officers.
