Meet Muppet!

Muppet is a sweet, people-oriented little guy who is in urgent need of a very specific foster or foster-to-adopt home. He bonds deeply to his person and wants to be right by your side at all times.

What Muppet needs:

• Loves Kids and will play

• Someone home most of the day

• Experience with anxious or special-needs dogs preferred

• Fully fenced yard REQUIRED (he will bolt if given the chance)

• Patient, calm environment

Important to know (full transparency):

• Muppet is deaf and relies heavily on visual cues and physical closeness

• He has severe separation anxiety

• He cannot be kenneled and panics if confined or shut in another room

• Cannot be left outside alone

• Not reliably house trained yet

• Will follow closely underfoot and seeks constant contact

• Jumping on tables/furniture occurs due to anxiety and lack of boundaries

This is not bad behavior — Muppet is fearful and overwhelmed, not aggressive.

Good news:

• Very affectionate

• Loves human attention

• Small size

• No aggression noted

• wants to be a lap dog or carried all the time

Muppet would thrive with someone who wants a Velcro dog and understands that progress will take time, structure, and patience.
