Featured Pet of the Day – ‘Rocky’

This handsome, energetic boy is Rocky! Currently waiting at the City of West Plains Animal Care and Control, Rocky is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and energy to share. Weighing in at 34 lbs, he’s the perfect size for snuggles, adventures, and everything in between.

 

Rocky came into the shelter on January 15, 2025 (Impound: 2310), and he’s been patiently waiting for his forever family ever since. With his bright eyes and that infectious smile, it’s hard not to fall in love at first sight.

Rocky is still young, which means he’s full of energy and ready to learn. Whether it’s going for a walk, chasing a ball, or just lounging in the sun, he’s up for anything as long as he’s by your side. With a little love, patience, and training, Rocky is sure to become an amazing companion.
