Featured Pet of the Day – ‘Shyla’

 

Hey there! I’m Shyla—a 9-year-old Pittie mix, professional sunbather, leash-walking champ, and all-around good girl.

 

I’ve been at the shelter for a while now—one of the longest residents, actually—but I’m holding out hope that the right person will come along and finally give me the chance I deserve. Every day people walk by my kennel, and I do my best to smile and pose. (I mean, look at me—I’m clearly photogenic!)

 

Here’s what makes me the perfect pup:

– House-trained and great on a leash

– Love soaking up the sun and playing outdoors

– Ideal for an active home—I’m still young at heart!

– Would love to be your one and only spoiled princess

– A backyard is a bonus, but not a must—just a place to belong

 

While I may be a senior on paper, you’d never know it by the way I still light up for walks, treats, and affection. I just need someone to look beyond the kennel door and give me that second chance.
