FEATURED PETS OF THE DAY-
Meet two dogs who have been at each other’s sides from day one;
Rico– Approx. 2 yrs old. Was originally a stray and no one has claimed him. He is an intelligent pup, loves to go for rides in the car.
-Can be a bit grumpy when meeting other dogs but will play with them once he’s gotten to know them.
-Is a FRISBEE CHAMPION. Also loves playing catch and will catch a ball if thrown up in the air.
-Uses a doggy door, does well at doing his business.
-Heart worm negative but needs to continue preventative. Up to date on shots and neutered.
Halo- (Approx. 2 yrs old, figured to be a Boston-terrier mix) Large in weight. Loves people and belly rubs are her favorite. While she will take treats politely, she can become excited over treats and toys to the point to where she will jump up on you and try to see what is in your hands.
-Does well walking on a leash and will carry the leash, a ball or chew toy in her mouth. LOVES toys and balls as well as chewing on bones
-Must have a fenced yard, likes to wander.
-Uses a doggy door, does well at doing her business
-Good with other dogs if they are willing to be friendly and play
-Spayed and up to date on shots
-*HAS TESTED POSTIVE FOR HEARTWORMS IN PAST- Last blood test has since shown she is negative. Must remain on Heartworm Preventative year- round.
Rico and Halo both met in a foster home and were instantly comrades and have stayed buddies since. Rico was also alongside Halo during her heartworm ordeals. Both have a similar playing style and particularly love to play with each other.
It is recommended both dogs be in a home with no other dogs, cats or small children. Fenced yard is a must so they can run and play safely. Commitment to both frisbee and catch are a must for both dogs.
