Moody, MO. – A ten-year-old boy is in serious condition in Springfield after injuries inflicted in a vehicle accident near Moody.
The accident occurred at 1:45pm, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrols Report. Keli York, a 45-year-old driver from West Plains, was traveling on Highway 142, moving Westbound. A ten-year-old unidentified juvenile walked into the roadway and was struck by Yorks 2013 Chevy Equinox.

The child was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield in the aftermath of the event, and suffered serious injuries.
This accident was investigated by Trooper A.K. Falterman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
