19th Annual Christos House Chocolate Festival

West Plains, MO. – On June 15, 2024, Christos House is hosting its annual chocolate festival. It will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The First United Methodist Church in West Plains.

The Chocolate Festival is Christos House’s annual fundraiser and awareness campaign for the community. This traditional chocolate festival consists of a live and silent auction, chocolate dishes (desserts, etc.), and donated merchandise from area businesses and organizations. Community members are encouraged to bring their dishes and share as they partake in the taste testing and judging for the best chocolate dish.

The public is welcome to come and there is no cost to enter the premises. The cost to buy tasting tickets to partake in judging and tasting is $10 per 20 taste tickets, and children under 10 get tickets for free. If you wish to buy extra tickets, you can buy 1 for $1 or 6 for $5.
They will also have survivor testimonies during the events so that if people are willing they can learn about the effects of domestic and sexual violence. Domestic and sexual violence affects more than one person; domestic and sexual violence affects the entire community. The proceeds from this event will go to help support the domestic and sexual violence victims that Christos House serves.
