Howell County Sheriff’s Office deputies have one male in custody after a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit began just after 2am on State Route K. Taylor Davis, 28, fled from West Plains to Pottersville to Caulfield and was headed back toward West Plains.
Sheriff Matt Roberts was able to get in position near Hocomo Industries on U.S. Highway 160 and deploy stop sticks. After striking the stop sticks the tires immediately began to deflate. The vehicle slowed and came to a stop in the ditch near Bobcat of West Plains. The male then fled on foot and was taken into custody after short foot pursuit and struggle.
