West Plains, MO. – This week in West Plains, Terry Hampton tells us about two events taking place amid all of the fall festivals that will be popping up in the coming days.
First up, the Ozarks Heritage Research Center will be putting on a unique presentation tonight called “Abandoned Ozarks II: Forgotten Schoolhouses”, discussing the various forgotten old schoolhouses now found scattered across farms and other properties across the Ozarks. This will happen at 6pm at the Garnett Library 304 West Trish Knight Street.
