According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol an accident took place Wednesday afternoon when a 2008 Toyota Yaris ran off Highway 19, 17 miles north of Eminence and struck the Southside of Round Spring bridge. The 64-year-old driver from Salem, Missouri was pronounced dead at the scene by the Shannon County Coroner.
This is the 12th fatality in Troop G this year as com0pared to 7 in the same time period last year.
