A Smithville man was killed Sunday afternoon in a two‑vehicle crash on U.S. 63 in Hardy, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Troopers say the crash happened at 4:51 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 63 and U.S. 63B when a northbound 2006 Mercury Mariner “failed to yield the right of way and entered the path” of a southbound 2004 Harley‑Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the SUV, killing its rider, 64‑year‑old Larry E. Bratcher of Smithville.
