A 54-year-old Eminence woman was injured when she swerved to miss a deer on Highway 17 west of Union Chapel Road in Texas county on Monday. The report states that she overcorrected went off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence.
She was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for treatment of moderate injuries.
