Flippin, AR. – A pilot who took off from the Marion County Regional Airport this past Thursday evening walked away from a plane crash with only minor injuries sustained.
This incident is stated to have occurred around 5:15am that day, with the pilot taking off and shortly after reporting engine trouble. The pilot then crashed within the bounds of the airport, and was extraced from the downed aircraft by the Flippin Fire Department.
The pilot was then taken to Baxter Health in Mountain Home for treatment of their reported minor injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the cause of the crash in the coming days.
