The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has received multiple reports of vehicle break-ins and stolen vehicles in the Horseshoe Bend area over the past several weeks.
• In the early morning hours of December 14, 2025, a report of a vehicle break-in was taken at a residence on Scenic Acres Drive in Horseshoe Bend. A Marlin 30/30 rifle was taken from the vehicle.
• Later that same morning, deputies received a report of two vehicles being broken into at a residence on Park Court in Horseshoe Bend, where money was taken.
• In the early morning hours of December 30, 2025, a report was made of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Bend Circle in Horseshoe Bend. The vehicle was located a few hours later near the Forty-Four community.
• In the early morning hours of January 3, 2026, deputies received a report of two stolen vehicles from a residence on Ridge Circle in Horseshoe Bend. One vehicle was located nearby, and the second vehicle was later located near Gorby.
