A 26‑year‑old Ava woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in a rollover crash five miles south of Norwood.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the driver was heading south on MO‑C around 3:40 p.m. when her 2016 Chevrolet Equinox hydroplaned, ran off the right side of the road, hit a culvert, and overturned.

The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Troopers were assisted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
