On November 17, 2025, Lt. Nelson arrested Amanda Young, Age 34, of Ava, on a Douglas County Grand Jury Indictment for 4 counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit/Debit Device, all Class E Felonies. Young was also indicted on one count of Misdemeanor Stealing. Young obtained a credit device of another and used it to pay accounts at White River Electric and PayPal accounts.
The case was investigated by Deputy Jesse Three Eagles.
Bond was set at $5000 cash only.
