A benefit auction is planned for February 22 for the family of Nathaniel Shafer, the six-year-old boy who was tragically killed in a crash earlier this month in Winona. The benefit auction will be held at the Alton multipurpose building with a dinner starting at 4pm, prior to the auction.
Donations for the auction can be taken to the Thayer or Alton Ambulance bases, or to Napa Auto Parts in Alton.
