On Nov. 1, 2025, Howell County deputies responded to a burglary at a Mountain View property where forced entry was made into a shop building. A pry bar and face mask were found at the scene, and several items were reported stolen.
Two days later, a family member photographed an inverter still inside the shop at 11 a.m. By 12:59 p.m., deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call at the same property and found Kristina Killion, 29, nearby. Killion, known for prior burglary and drug offenses, admitted to driving the truck.
A search of the vehicle revealed suspected methamphetamine alongside Killion’s ID, the stolen inverter, and a backpack containing burglary tools. Killion was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) – § 579.015 RSMo
- Burglary in the Second Degree – § 569.170 RSMo
She claimed another person fled the scene, but no second suspect was located.
