Change of Attorney Pushes Kosh Shooter Trial to April 2023

West Plains, MO. – A change of attorney has pushed the trial against the man accused of killing one and injuring others during a 2021 shooting at Snappy Mart in Koshkonong to April of next year.

Christopher Lindley of Thayer is charged with 1st degree murder, five counts of 1st degree assault, and six counts of armed criminal action after opening fire inside the Snappy Mart on April 10, 2021.

During the incident, Carlos Moreno, of California, died in the shooting. Melissa Rae Blaskiewicz, Jonah Bivens, and Paul Chavis all suffered gunshot wounds. Two additional victims were shot at but were uninjured.

The Lindley trial setting will be held in the Division 2 Courtroom at the Dent County Courthouse in Salem, Missouri on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
