Designed for all ages and abilities, the Autism Color Run/Walk invites participants to start
the course in white and move through vibrant color stations, creating a fun and welcoming
experience that reflects the spirit of acceptance and belonging at each event location.
Beyond the celebration, the event serves a greater purpose. Thanks to the overwhelming
support from participants, sponsors, and volunteers across both events, CBS is proud to
announce that $2,000 donations will be made to each of the following organizations: the
Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks in West Plains and Willow Springs Charitable Events in
Willow Springs. These organizations play a vital role in supporting children and families
throughout the region.

“Events like the Autism Color Run are a great way for us to get to know our communities,
show our heart, and support children,” said Logan Waggoner, Director of Marketing &
Public Relations at Children’s Behavioral Services. “This event represents awareness, and
the funds raised represent continued support for children and families. Our goal is to make
children of all abilities feel supported and connected, and we’re so grateful to bring two
communities together for something like this.”

The Willow Springs event kicked off at 9 AM near the city pool, where participants were
welcomed with upbeat music, motivational signage, and strong community support along
the route. Volunteers and cheerleaders lined Old Rolla Road, while color stations and
refueling stops kept the energy high throughout the course.

Later that afternoon, the West Plains event began at 2 PM at the CBS clinic across from the
Civic Center. Participants gathered with friends and family before heading out on a
downtown route filled with color stations, sponsor recognition, and enthusiastic volunteer
support, creating a memorable experience from start to finish.

For many families, opportunities to participate in inclusive, supportive environments can be
limited. Events like the Autism Color Run help bridge that gap by creating a space where
children, parents, and caregivers can connect, engage, and access resources in a welcoming setting.

The continued success of hosting two events in one day highlights the strength of these
communities and the shared commitment to creating opportunities for children with special
needs.

Children’s Behavioral Services extends its sincere gratitude to every sponsor, volunteer, and
participant who made this event possible.
