City of West Plains Expected to Pick Up Nearly 2 Million Pounds of Trash as a Part of Spring Clean-up Week

West Plains, MO. – This week has been spring cleanup week for the city of West Plains, and sanitation crews have been hard at work.

As a part of an announcement from the city of West Plains, crews have been averaging picking up 200 tons of material each day, and are on track to collect nearly 2 million pounds of trash by the time the week ends.

The City of West Plains wishes to thank residents for taking part and helping to keep the town clean. With the success of this week, the City is exploring further ways to expand the program.
