City waiting for court date for Parkside House

WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Following the overwhelming rejection of a plan to save the Parkside House at Butler Children’s Park earlier this month, the future of the home continues to be tied up in the courts.

The certified results from the Howell County Board of Verification reported 340 “yes” votes and 1,149 “no” votes to preserve and renovate the Parkside House.
